We will provide a community-oriented approach to law enforcement, in which our police department and the community are equal partners in reducing crime and the fear of crime and enhancing public safety in our city. In addition to my commitment to building a culture of professionalism, integrity, and compassion within our agency, I will ensure our police department remains transparent in our actions and in our official duties. This is the only way we can build the trust necessary to successfully establish a lasting and robust partnership within our community. I am a committed public servant and professional law enforcement officer, and I lead by example to ensure all of the officers and staff of this department carry themselves in the same manner daily.
